So sad to leave this precious baby

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and Gigi had to return to Amarillo this week. I enjoyed taking care of Kaiden, Alyssa and Lichar and spending time with Ashley and Kalum. But Poppy and Doogie needed someone to take care of them.
Here's a few of the 500+ pictures on my computer!

Poppy had to leave Kaiden after only a week.

Kaiden and Tante Ashley played so hard that they had to take a nap.

The thinkers - Kaiden and Uncle Kalum.
In the sweater his Oma Lilian in Amsterdam made him.

In his new K-Tan carrier, ready for a walk.

Ready for his 2 week check-up
He weighed 8 lbs. 5.5 oz.

What's happening?

Taking a little nap in Gigi's bed.

Gigi, please don't leave me.

Recipe swap - BarBQ Cups

Ashley Ingram invited us all to a recipe swap today. Well I'm not at home yet so I can't get to my recipe books and I am holding a fussy little boy, Kaiden, and typing one-handed but I wanted to share an easy recipe I used to make a lot when the girls were younger. I didn't get this from a recipe book but someone verbally gave it to me - it's so easy.

Barbecue Cups
One pound of hamburger
1 cup of barbecue sauce
Can of 10 biscuits - not the Grands kind - but old fashioned smaller biscuits
Grated cheese
Brown hamburger and then add one cup of your favorite barbecue sauce. Lightly spray 10 cops of a muffin tin with Pam. Place one biscuit in each tin and make it form a cup. Place a heaping spoon full of the hamburger mixture into each cup. Top with grated cheese and bake at 350 degrees until the biscuits are brown.
Often I didn't have grated cheese so I would tear up a slice of cheese and it worked great. These are also great as leftovers in a lunch the next day.

On a sad note, I must leave my precious grandson (and of course his mommy and daddy and Tante Ashley and Uncle Kalum) and return to Amarillo later today. I will sure miss Kaiden. It has been so much fun the last two weeks with him. He has on his little green Moo Moo Everywhere outfit I bought him but I don't have time to download a picture. I need to make one last run to Babies R Us for supplies. Here's a picture from the other day in his "I love my Grandma" outfit.
